Our story
It started with two chairs and a promise.
In 1988, Dr. Anthony Markiewicz opened a two-chair office in Mundelein with a single hygienist and a used x-ray unit. The promise he made to early patients was unremarkable and, at the time, uncommon: he would tell them the truth about their teeth and let them decide what to do about it.
That promise turned out to be the entire business plan. Patients told their neighbors. Their children became patients. Their children's children are patients now.
His son David joined after finishing advanced cosmetic training. Dr. Bogard and Dr. Vasiliev came next, and neither has left. Along the way we added 3D imaging, dental microscopes, intraoral scanners, and AI-assisted radiograph review — not because technology is impressive, but because it lets four doctors keep that original promise with far more precision.
